FRANKLIN FARM
BUTTERFLY HOUSE / SUNFLOWER FIELDS / CELERY FARM
The Franklin Family has been growing celery in New Zealand for 118 years! Franklin Farm is nestled in Waimauku, Auckland - and is owned and operated by 5th generation growers Luke and Jasmine Franklin.
We pride ourselves on growing the best celery all year round.
We open our farm to the public for a short time only in Summer, to share our stunning sunflower fields with you all. We offer open times where you can come without a booking, opportunities to book the entire sunflower fields to yourselves, and on Fridays you can bring your dog! Click here find out more about our sunflower fields, or keep an eye on our socials for updates - we will update there if we need to close due to bad weather, or for any other reason. We also grow a small amount of spray-free corn in early summer, and this is available for 'pick your own' at the sunflower fields - picking times will also be advertised on our socials.

We're also opening for the very first time, our brand new butterfly house! With a primary focus on supporting the endangered monarch butterfly species, we also have the red and yellow admiral too. Come and learn about these incredible species in a hands on, immersive environment. This attraction is seperate to the sunflower fields, but you can buy a 'farm pass' at a discounted rate to see both.
