Nestled in the heart of Waimauku, our family-run farm is home to the BEST sunflower fields in Auckland, a magical monarch butterfly house, animal farmyard and unforgettable pick-your-own experiences. Whether you’re here to wander through blooms, meet friendly farm animals, get lost in our maize maze, or simply soak up the fresh country air, there’s something for everyone. We’re proud to share our passion for sustainability, seasonal produce, and good old-fashioned Kiwi hospitality. Come for a visit, we can’t wait to welcome you.

Our farm experience is split into two seperate parts - The Butterfly House at 145 Taha Road; and The Sunflower Fields at 167 Taha Road. We do offer a discounted rate for those wanting to do both the Sunflower Fields and The Butterfly House - the ULTIMATE FARM PASS being our favourite option.

At The Butterfly House you'll find hundreds of monarch butterflies, our native red and yellow admirals (as breeding allows), butterfly releases, a maze in the maize field, bunny cuddles/petting, bouncy castles, a scavenger hunt and dahlia and zinnia gardens.

At an additional cost we will have swan plants and flowering plants for sale, pick your own sprayfree sweet corn, farm grown watermelons, and pick your own zinnias and dahlias.

 

At the Sunflower Fields you'll find millions of sunflowers and photo opportunities, other seasonal flower fields - wildflowers, mustard and phacelia, a scavenger hunt, and our animal farmyard where you can pet and feed a variety of farm animals.

At an additional cost you can pick your own sunflowers, hire cutters or purchase pre cut sunflowers.
