Service Description

Fill a bucket (9L) with pick your own dahlias and zinnias. We provide the bucket that you can take home, and the cutters to hire are included. Feel free to split the cost and bring a friend to share your bucket with! Pick Your Own Dahlias & Zinnias - Terms & Conditions By booking a Pick Your Own Dahlia & Zinnia session at Franklin Farm Waimauku, you agree to the following terms and conditions: 1. Booking & Entry • This is a ticketed, limited-capacity experience. Entry is only permitted during your booked session time. • Each booking includes one bucket provided by Franklin Farm. • Tickets are non-refundable, except in the event of cancellation by Franklin Farm. 2. Supervised Picking • All picking sessions are staff-guided. Our team will show you where and how to pick. • Please follow staff instructions at all times to protect our gardens and plants. • We reserve the right to stop picking for anyone not following guidance. 3. Tools & Biosecurity • Only Franklin Farm-provided snips may be used. • Personal snips or tools are not permitted, to prevent the spread of plant diseases. 4. Flower Availability • Dahlias and zinnias are seasonal. Not all varieties may be in bloom at the time of your booking. • If you are after the widest possible selection, we recommend booking later dates as the season progresses. • Flower availability does not qualify for refunds. 5. Care of Plants & Gardens • Please pick flowers only - do not pull plants, step into beds, or remove foliage unnecessarily. • Children must be supervised at all times. • No running, climbing, or playing in the flower beds. 6. Weather • Sessions run rain or shine unless conditions are unsafe. • In the event of extreme weather, Franklin Farm may cancel or reschedule the session. You will be contacted if this occurs. 7. Health & Safety • This is a working farm. Uneven ground, insects, and outdoor hazards exist. • Entry is at your own risk - Franklin Farm cannot be held liable for injury, loss of income to injury, vehicle damage, or any medical event. 8. Respect the Space • Our flower gardens are carefully grown and maintained. • We ask all guests to treat the space with care so everyone can enjoy it now and into the future.
